JAMB Re-opens Portal for 48hrs for Registration Submissions Only

It seems the protest held in most cities in the country has paid off as JAMB has re-opened it's portal for the next 48hrs to allow candidates, who had already started the registration, to complete it and submit.

That means candidates, who had not started any registration with accredited centres, before the portal closed, will not be allowed to register at all.

Below is the actual stated released by the board;

"The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board hereby direct all candidates ‎who have initiated the process of registration for the 2016 UTME but ‎couldn’t upload and complete their registration process as at Friday 5th ‎February, 2016 to do so within 48 hours starting from 12 midnight on ‎Tuesday, 23rd February 2016 when the website will be opened to 12 midnight ‎on Thursday, 25th February, 2016 when the website will be closed.

"The Board wishes to state that the directive doesn’t cover fresh ‎registration but only those who had either done offline registration or ‎visited our website but could submit.

"The Board wishes to state that all arrangements for the 2016 UTME have been ‎completed and examination will commence as earlier stated.

"Candidates are also urged to print their examination slipsfor the schedules ‎of their date, venue, time allotted to them and other necessary information.‎"

JAMB SLIP REPRINT WITH EASE

Due to the issues many students are having accessing the part of the JAMB portal that provides this information to candidates, we've have decided to help students who are yet to re-print their jamb slip. 1) An sms will be sent to U starting from today to notify U for ur Call-up Letter
printing.
2) Only those who paid online can be able to print their Call-up Letter s
starting tomorrow.
3) Note that early registration is not a determinant for stream 1.
4) U are expected to sign & put date on the space provided below on Ur Green
Card with a Blue Pen not Black/Red pen, before U photocopy Ur Green Card.
Remember, the signature u scanned should be same with the one u are to be
signing on NYSC papers.
5) Ur states of deployment, departure date, streams will be indicated on ur Call-
up letter.
6) U will print ur Call-up letter by login into ur NYSC Account.
7) On arrival to camp, u will be given documents to fill. Please make sure U go
through it thoroughly after filling to avoid error, cos any errors made on it can
hardly be corrected again.
The Green Card and Call-Up Letter "MUST" be on colored cos colored serves
as the Originals, and white/black serves as photocopies. U are needed to sign
on it where 'necessary' before U photocopy. If date is required alongside

Official: JAMB Confirms 2016 Examination To Begin February 29th

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has disclosed that the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination will begin on February 29.

This was made known by the JAMB’s Head of Public Relations, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.

The examination which will last for one week will have one million candidates participating. About 500 Internet-complaint centres will be used for the Computer-based Test in the country while seven others will be used outside the country.

Candidates have been directed to re-print their registration slip by visiting any JAMB accredited Computer-Based Centre or cybercafé from February 18th, 2016 to know their exact examination date, time of examination and venue.

Candidates are also advised to arrive at their various centres/venue 30 minutes before the scheduled time and ensure they adhere strictly to their examination date, time and venue as a candidate who misses his or her examination will have no opportunity to write again.

NYSC Notice To 2016 Prospective Batch A Corps Members With Different Call-Up Numbers

This is to inform 2016 Prospective Batch A Corps Members With Two Different Call-Up Numbers that they are to re-print their slip (greencard) todayMonday or Tuesday to ascertain the correct one.

YABATECH Notice To Part-time Students On Resumption Date 2015/2016

This is to inform all part-time students (New and returning students) of Yaba College of Technology that 2015/2016 academic session will begin fully on February 29, 2016 as contained in the college approved academic calendar.

NYSC Notice To Prospective Corps Members

This is to inform all prospective Corps Members who had had registered online before and gotten callup number or letter but did not report to camp due to some reasons, that they don't have to register again. 

When the portal is opened for registration, all you need to do is to go online and click on revalidation, you would be prompted to login. 

Login using your former email and password and choose three states.

Submit your application and print your registration slip.
