FUNAAB Post-UTME Screening Dates 2017/2018 Announced

This is to inform all aspirants of Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNAAB) that the new screening dates have been announced.

The Pre-Admission Screening Exercise is Computer-based and holds on Wednesday, 4th and Thursday, 5th October, 2017.

UTME and DE candidates are to visit FUNAAB Admission Portal from Thursday, 28th September, 2017 Saturday, 23rd September, 2017 to check and print the schedule (venue, date and time) for their Computer-Based Test.

Meanwhile, the screening registration ends today September 27th, 2017.

All prospective candidates seeking admissions into the Adeniran College of Education (AOCOED) NCE programme FOR THE 2017/2018 academic session are invited to apply for the Post-UTME Screening following the procedure for application as detailed below.

LASU Extends Post-UTME Screening Registration 2017/2018

The management of Lagos State University has extended the Post-UTME registration deadline for 2017/2018 session again.

The new closing date for the Lagos State University 2017/2018 Online Admission Screening Exercise is now Tuesday, 26th September, 2017.

Prospective Candidates who are yet to register/complete their registration are advised to take advantage of the one-week extension as no further extension will be granted.

LASU Reopens Indigneship Registration Portal For 2017/2018 Admission

The Lagos State University (LASU) has re-opened the Online Registration Portal for Candidates of Lagos State Origin who chose Lagos State University as First Choice in the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), but were unable to register when the Exercise was first conducted (between Friday 23rd June and Monday 31st July, 2017).

The IIVC Registration Portal for Indigenes has now been re-opened effective Wednesday 20th September, 2017 and registration will close midnight of Sunday, 24th September, 2017.

METHOD OF APPLICATION: Candidates are to pay a non-refundable fee of Five Thousand (N5,000.00) Naira only into the Lagos State University account online through this link: www.lasu.edu.ng/iive

VERIFICATION INTERVIEW: After completing the online application, Candidates are to present themselves for Verification interview on Monday, 25th and Tuesday, 26th September, 2017 as follows:

ASUU Calls Off Strike, Directs Lecturers To Resume With Immediate Effect


The Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities, ASUU, has officially called-off its strike action.

According to report, ASUU is suspending the strike till the end of October for government to fulfill their promise.

The suspension of the strike was announced after a meeting with the government delegation Monday evening.

At the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the federal government delegation led by the Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige.

Consequently, the leadership of the union has called on lecturers to resume duty as from tomorrow Tuesday 19th, 2017.

TASUED 2nd Batch Post-UTME Screening Registration 2017/2018 has Commenced

The Tai Solarin University of Education has commenced Post-UTME screening registration for 2d choice candidates.

Eligibility:

UTME Candidates who chose TASUED as 2nd choice institution or seeking a change of institution to TASUED through JAMB, having scored a minimum of 180 in the 2017 UTME.
Direct Entry candidates with A level /OND/ HND/ NCE/ JUPEB qualification who chose TASUED as 2nd choice institution or seeking a change of institution to TASUED through JAMB and have obtained 2017 Direct Entry JAMB form.

Method Of Application

Candidates should apply online through the TASUED Admission portal on https://my.tasued.edu.ng/admission

Each candidate is required to make the payment of N2,500 for the screening exercise and N5,000 for the portal access fee, payable online with either Master card or VISA ATM card. (Please print out your receipt after payment)

Candidates are required to fill and complete the online Application Form by providing all the required information. (Please download and read the University Degree Brochure and carefully study the O’Level requirements for the courses applied for, before filling the online Application Form)

Print the Screening Slip containing your colour passport photograph and screening information. The printed slip will serve as candidate’s identification/admission card for the screening exercise.

Note that wrong/ false information provided by any candidate shall render the application invalid and such candidates shall be disqualified.

Screening Dates:

Screening exercise shall be conducted for all UTME candidates at the Main Campus of the University on a dateb to be announced later.

SCREENING DETAILS

Candidates should prepare for the screening exercise and bring along the following:

-Colour print-out of the online Application Form
-Original JAMB Examination Notification of Result slip or Direct Entry Registration Slip.

WARNING:

LAUTECH Resumption of Academic Activities Announced

The Governing Council of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, has approved resumption of academic activities with effect from September 15, 2017.

The Registrar and Secretary to Council, Jacob A. Agboola, in a statement said “students of the University are expected to return to school on September 25, 2017, while full academic activities, will announce, shall commence immediately after the Independence anniversary holiday”.

The Council commended the Governors of Oyo and Osun States, Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi and Mr Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola respectively, ” for agreeing to support the University with necessary funds to enable the University to return to its normal work schedule and reinvigorate its latent capacities for accelerated and sustainable growth and development” .

The statement added that the Council also appreciated all stakeholders for their understanding and support while the crisis lasted since last year.

Council further appealed to students, staff, parents as well as the general public to demonstrate greater faith and dedication to the wellbeing of the institution, as better days lie ahead of it.
“Concerted efforts should, therefore, be geared towards ensuring that nothing is allowed to disrupt the normal work of the University again”, the statement added.

LASU Extends Post-UTME Registration Deadline 2017/2018

Official: NECO SSCE Result 2017 Released - See Statistics


The National Examination Council (NECO) has released the results of the 2017 senior school certificate examination (SSCE) it conducted throughout the country and some overseas countries between June and July.

The results showed that 745,053 candidates that sat for the examination recorded credit and above passes in English and Mathematics, while 947,850 candidates passed with credits and above in five subjects irrespective of English and Mathematics.

According to the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NECO, Professor Charles Uwakwe, who announced the results, over 1,055,988 candidates registered for the examination, while 1,051472 actually sat for the test which covered a total of 76 subjects.

The registrar disclosed that 50,586 candidates were involved in examination malpractices, adding that 276 schools were involved in “mass cheating” in 34 states.

As a result, Uwakwe said six schools had been “derecognised” for their institution being involved in examination malpractices in addition to 23 supervisors “who aided malpractices in one way or the other were blacklisted”.

OSPOLY Post-UTME 2017: Screening, Cut-off Mark And Registration Details

Osun State Polytechnic Iree online registration for Post- UTME Screening Exercise Admission into the ALL NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMME COURSES for the 2017/2018 Academic session in the Institution. The registration will commence from Tuesday 12th- Tuesday 26th September, 2017.

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

FUOYE Post-UTME 2017: Cut-Off Mark, Screening And Registration Details

The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) hereby informs all applicants who have applied to FUOYE in the 2017 UTME to visit the screening portal http://screening.fuoye.edu.ng in order to participate in the online screening exercise between Monday, 11th  – Friday, 29ttSeptember, 2017.

2.0 ELIGIBILITY

i)Candidates who applied to Federal University Oye Ekiti and obtained UTME cut-off score of 180 and above.
ii)FUOYE accepts 150 and above in the UTME for the pre-degree students of FUOYE.

iii)        All candidates must possess a minimum of five ‘O’ level credits obtained at not more than two sittings in subjects relevant to their proposed courses.

iv)In addition to item (iii) above, Direct Entry candidates must possess at least two (2) A’ level (or its equivalent) passes in relevant subjects, or possess ND, NCE, HND, with credit passes, or possess a good first degree in another field as the case may be.

3.0 REGISTRATION/PAYMENT PROCEDURE

4.0 IMPORTANT NOTICE

 Complete the O’ Level section with the required  5 O’ level credits for the course applied for either in one (1) or two (2) sittings

YABATECH Post Utme 2017; Cut-off Mark, Screening And Registration Details

Applications are hereby invited from interested 2017 UTME candidates who applied for admission into Yaba College of Technology for, National Diploma (ND) Full Time and B.SC. in Technical Education programmes (100 level). The application which is on-line will commence on Monday, September 11, 2017.

ELIGIBILITY

The admission screening is open to candidates who chose Yaba College of Technology as their 1st or 2nd Choice of Institution and scored 150 and above for National Diploma (ND) Full Time and 180 for B. Sc. Degree (100 Level) in affiliation with University of Nigeria, Nsukka in the 2017/2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). However, all candidates who have chosen Yabatech as 2nd Choice of Institution are required to change to First Choice on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Portal to be eligible for admission.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Applicants are to pay a fee of Two thousand Naira (N2,000.00) (excluding result verification fee) for the exercise using their ATM Card (Master Card, Visa, Verve) by clicking on PAY NOW. The application process can also be run on mobile devices (Smart Phones, IPAD, Tablets and other Internet enabled devices). The candidates are expected to upload their photograph in JPEG or PNG format and not more than 120 x 120 pixel.

JAMB Notice To Post-UTME Candidates With Issues of "No Record Found"

All candidates who earlier did JAMB change of course and institution and have been unable to register for their school's Post-UTME screening exercise due to responses like "No Record Found" on the school's portal have been asked to be patient as the issue will be resolved soon.

The reason for the issue is the fact that JAMB has not sent your details to the new schools you changed to.

However, JAMB has disclosed that soon enouigh, details of the affected candidates will be sent to their various schools and afterwards such candidates will now be able to register for the Postp-UTRME screening of their various schools.

JAMB will soon send their details to their various schools which will enable them register during online registration on their various school portal.

According to JAMB, all Institutions have been directed to ensure that all candidates are considered for their various PUTME"

Candidates should not panic as they would certainly sit for the PUTME in the Institutions they have made changes to.

FUAM Post-UTME 2017: Cut-off Mark, Eligibility And Registration Details

Candidates who selected University of Agriculture, Makurdi as first choice in the 2017/2018 UTME and scored 170 marks and above are hereby notified that the Admission Screening application form is now available:

c.      Candidates are expected to register online for the UTME Screening exercise using the Payment Voucher information by filling the UTME Screening Registration Form available on the University website http://entry.uam.edu.ng/utme  (follow the guideline on the website).

d.     Candidates are expected to provide correct information about their candidature on the University portal and make a printout of the online registration form from the University website and come along with it during screening exercise.

3. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:
a. Registration will start on Tuesday, 5th September, 2017 and end on Friday 15th September, 2017.

– Click on ‘ Create Account’
– Enter your UTME REG Number and a valid email address and click ‘Send’. A verification code will be sent to your email instantly.

– On the form, enter your phone number, password, verification code (copied from email), select the access level and click on ‘ Submit’
– Your login details will be sent to your email address instantly.
– Continue with the application by logging in with the login credentials sent to your email
– After successful login, click on ‘Step One’, click on ‘Generate Application Form RRR’
– Print the RRR (Remita) page, proceed to any bank of your choice nationwide to make a payment of N2,000 only
– Login to the portal, click on ‘Step Two’, click on ‘Confirm payment’, enter the RRR number and click on ‘Verify payment’. If payment confirmation is successful, or if you get a notification ‘Payment already verified’, then proceed to “Step Three”.
– Click on ‘Step Three’, click on ‘Fill Application Form’, Fill out the application form. You can
save each stage of the application and continue at a later time. Also, you can edit your information as often as possible within the application period.

4. TIME AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

5. RESTRICTIONS
a. Only bona fide candidates/candidates scheduled for the day’s examination and time shall be allowed into the University / Examination Hall.
b. Parents and guardians are, therefore, strongly advised against attempting to enter the University Campus as security will be tight.
c. No GSM handsets, scientific calculators or any other extraneous materials shall be allowed into the examination hall

This is to inform candidates who choose Federal Polytechnic, Offa in the JAMB 2017 UTME that the screening will hold from Monday 18th to Friday 22nd September, 2017, in the Polytechnic Main Campus.

Candidates are required to come with Original and photocopy(s) of their SSCE results and appropriate scratch cards for the screening of their results.

CRUTECH Post-UTME/DE 2017(1st Choice Candidates): Cut-off Mark And Registration Details

It is hereby announced for the information of prospective candidates (Both UTME and Direct Entry) who made Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) their first choice and scored 150 and above in the 2017 UTME Examination,that the Online Registration for admission into the 2017/2018 Academic Session will commence on Tuesday, 5th September, 2017 and ends on Thursday, 5th October, 2017.

To access the Online Application Form, candidates are required to pay two thousand (N2,000.00) naira Screening Fee and three thousand (N3,000) naira, Portal Access Fee, payable online with either Master/Visa/Verve ATM Card or in any commercial bank through Remita via the online application Portal.

PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION

To register, applicants should:

1) Log on to www.crutech.edu.ng and click on the 2017/2018 Post UTME/DE Screening link.

FUNAAB Post-UTME 2017: Cut-Off Mark, Screening And Registration Details

All applicants seeking undergraduate admission into 100, 200 and 300 Levels in the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) are hereby invited to apply online for the 2017/2018 Pre-Admission Screening Exercise.

Applications must be from suitably qualified candidates whose have chosen the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) as the Most Preferred Institution on the prescribed form obtainable for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Applicants must also possess minimum entry requirements of five (5) O’ Level Credits in relevant subjects at one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB and fill in the same results online. Applicants are advised to confirm the Admission Requirements into respective Degree Programmes logging in to fill the e-application form.

Only candidates with completed application before the stipulated deadline will be considered.

Eligibility for Pre-Admission Screening Exercises

General Information

Candidate seeking admission into the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta should note that they have the SOLE responsibility of ensuring that they meet the requirements before making any payment. If at any point it is discovered that the candidate does NOT meet the minimum admission requirements, such offer of admission shall be withdrawn and payment made is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Admission into Agriculture, Engineering, Bio-sciences, Physical Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Courses

In addition to conditions stated in the Eligibility for Pre-Admission Screening Exercise, candidates are expected to possess five (5) SSC Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings.

A Pass in Physics at O-Level is acceptable ONLY for courses in Agricultural Programmes.

A Pass in Biology with Credit in Agricultural Sciences is acceptable ONLY for courses in Agricultural Programmes. The University does not accept Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology.

Candidates applying for Water Resources Management should also possess a Credit in Geography.

Screening

Transcript Submission Deadline

Candidates are expected to forward their Academic Transcripts to the University Registrar not later than Tuesday, 31st October, 2017.
