AAUA Admission Screening 2016: Eligibility, Screening And Registration Details

This is to inform all UTME and Direct Entry candidates who applied for admission to Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, for the 2016/2017 academic session that the Admission Screening Exercise has commenced.

Candidates eligible for the screening are:
Those who made Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko their first choice of University in the 2016/2017 UTME and scored 180 and above; and
Direct Entry candidates who chose AAUA as their first or second choice University.
All eligible candidates are to visit the University website www.aaua.edu.ng to register for the screening exercise as from 26 th July, 2016 after the payment of N2,500.00 (Two thousand five hundred Naira only) at any branch of the banks listed below via e-tranzact:

First Bank

Eco Bank

Candidates are requested to collect bank-generated receipts at the point of payment, which will contain receipt number and confirmation code for the on-line registration.

Guidelines to Candidates for On-line Registration
i. Candidates should log on to the University portal and click on 2016/2017 ADMISSION SCREENING
ii. Candidates are to obtain a print-out containing the confirmation order number from the Bank upon payment of N2,500:00 only using your JAMB Registration Number.
iii. Candidates are to proceed to the Registration website (ase.aaua.edu.ng) to confirm payment and continue with the admission screening registration.

General Instructions to all Candidates
i. Candidates are advised to correctly upload their results and any other required information on the portal.
ii. Any falsification of results by candidates will lead to disqualification.
iii. Candidates are to click on "Admission requirements" to check on O’Level requirements for their course of choice.
iv. Candidates are advised to read the O’Level requirements of their courses and select the right FIVE subject combinations for their courses which must include credit passes in English Language and Mathematics.
v. A maximum of two (2) sittings is allowed in the case of O’Level requirements.
vi. AAUA accepts WAEC, NECO and NABTEB results.
vii. Candidates awaiting results should upload such results as soon as the results are released but not later than 30th September, 2016.
viii. It is compulsory for all candidates to participate in the screening exercise to enable the University to capture all relevant entry requirements for the admission exercise.

ELIGIBILITY

i) Candidates who applied to Federal University Oye Ekiti and obtained UTME cut-off score of 180 and above.

ii) All candidates must possess a minimum of five ‘O’ level credits obtained at not more than two sittings in subjects relevant to their proposed courses. Any candidate who does not have these requirements is considered as an Awaiting Result (AR) candidate

iii) Direct Entry candidates must possess a minimum of Upper Credit at National Diploma or its equivalents.

EPORTAL ACCESS FEE

Each candidate will be required to pay a processing fee of Two Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N2,500 .00) only.

Payment should be made through E-transact.

REGISTRATION/PAYMENT PROCEDURE USING E- TRANSACT

i) Visit any bank and pay through e-Transact platform.

ii) You will receive a print-out with receipt number and confirmation-order.

iii) Visit Federal University Oye-Ekiti website www.fuoye.edu.ng and click on Admission to select 2016 UTME screening/ Direct Entry from the home page.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Applicants for the Screening Exercise will be required to do the following on the University website.

i.) Upload Passport Photograph

ii.) Submit a valid e-mail address and a valid cell phone number in your Registration Form.

iii.) Complete the O’ Level section with the required 5 O’ level credits for the applied course in either one (1) or two (2) sittings

iv.) Print out screening report

Direct Entry Applicants

i. In addition to the above information, you are required to upload your statement/Notification of results.

ii. You are also required to forward your transcript to the Office of the Registrar, Federal University Oye Ekiti on or before Friday 5th August 2016.

CAUTION

Applicants that do not adhere strictly to the instructions on the University website will be disqualified.

The Polytechnic Ibadan Admission Screening 2016 (UTME) Announced


This is to inform candidates for Admission into the National Diploma (ND) programme of the polytechnic Ibadan for the 2016/2017 academic session that the admission screening registration has commenced.

Eligibility
All candidates who chose The Polytechnic Ibadan as their choice and scored the required cut-off mark in the last UTME.

Method of Application
Interested and qualified candidates are to visit the application portal http://admission.polyibadan.edu.ng/

Click on "Start Application Now" under "Post-UTME ND" and proceed to complete your application.

Application fee is ₦2,200.

Application Deadline
Application Deadline is September 16th, 2016.

OAU Admission Screening (UTME/DE) 2016: Eligibility, Screening And Registration Details

Candidates who made Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife their first choice in the 2016 UTME/DE and scored 200 and above are hereby informed to log on to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife website (www.oauife.edu.ng) or eportal.oauife.edu.ng to participate in the screening exercise effective from July 15, 2016.

Candidates who are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for the screening. Such candidates will be allowed to upload their results when they are released only if they applied within the specified period.

To commence the on-line screening, candidates are required to log on to University eportal and click on 2016 ADMISSION SCREENING-UTME/DE APPLICANTS using their JAMB Registration Numbers to download RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) and use it to pay for EPORTAL Access Charges for ICT Development (as paid by all regular students utilising OAU EPORTAL platform) to upload necessary data and N= 1,500 screening charge on Remita platform which accepts cash payment via branch of any bank or master card.

Applicants for the Screening Exercise will be required to do the following on the University EPORTAL:
1. Update JAMB data
2. Upload Results (i.e WAEC, NECO, JUPEB, ND, NCE etc)
3. Upload scanned copy of credentials
4. Upload passport photograph (if not available)
5. Print Admission Screening Report

Closing Date for screening of UTME candidate is 20th July, 2016.

Closing date for screening of Direct Entry is 30th July, 2016.

Note: Candidates are required to bring copies of the Admission Screening Report on resumption if admitted.

The exercise will not require physical presence of candidates on Obafemi Awolowo University campus.

Bona Leo hails from Achalla Awka-North LGA of Anambra state, born on 15th July 1985 into Mr and Mrs Joseph Igboanugo’s family, Started his Educational career at Emilyrich International Nursery and Primary School later graduated as a science student of Federal Government College Otobi, Oturkpo Benue state (Pro Unitate) and currently holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology Education (Second class Upper) from the prestigious University of Lagos, Akoka Yaba and also on a platform of obtaining Masters in Public Health in the USA. Being a born industrious Christian man, he struggled like every young and aspiring child after his secondary school days trying to make ends meet when the going went though, later he joined a couple of Network Marketing companies like GNLD, IFA, 4SURE, TREVOR where he had an all expense paid trip to South Africa and Dubai UAE for training on Network Marketing & Customer Service Relations and FUN as an achiever with Independent Field Advertiser (IFA) alongside serving God as the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria (CYON), Lagos Nigeria from (2006 – 2009), he currently is the MD/CEO of Rocbilm Nigeria Limited which is mostly into Consulting and Contracts. As a true Nigerian he happily married to Rosemary Igboanugo and also engaged in charitable works, helping the needy where necessary and committed to good governance and dividends of democracy, with 2019 still a long way ahead, new breed bloggers are stemming up across the country to take over the mantle of journalism in various sectors in the country. The Youths are now actively getting involved in mainstream blogging which is a good omen for our growing democracy where news are disseminated to those in the villages and who can’t afford the daily newspapers just using their smart phone devices. In Lagos state, one young man, Bona Leo stands out among the new breed bloggers with interest on Entertainment, Politics and Education Many see him as an opposition to the government of APC or a PDP member but because of his stance on good leadership and sustenance of democracy in the country, he grow up on the street and have been to more than 20 states in Nigeria and 7 countries he feels the pain, cry and suffering of Nigerians most especially in this CHANGE era, he wants this government to buckle up and tackle the several problems befalling the nation most especially in the power sector and make agriculture attracting to youths and form a formidable ECONOMIC team to salvage the country from its collapsing economy in order to attract foreign investors and maintain those on ground. He possesses a true leadership qualities and grassroots affiliate. His contributions to the development of his locality has been immense and he has greatly empowered so many youths in one way or the other. He was part of the history making group called (IGBO MANDATE) A non political group with political interests that worked tirelessly with Honorable Tony Nwulu MHR and Honorable Jude Idimogu MHA victories in the last election which brought a revolution of the Igbos involvement in Lagos politics, it is a known fact that Igbos have more establishment and investment in the Centre of Excellence than any other tribe and as such their future, businesses, properties and interest should be protected at all cost. He is currently the Publicity Secretary of Igbo Mandate and Political Analyst cum Strategic Planning’s before and after elections. He also have good involvements in the election planning and analysis as a Biology student of DLI in the Student Union government of DLISA Unilag during his university days are to be reckon with. Bona Leo I would say was born with politics in his blood, he Rosemary took keen interest in politics as a young chap back to his University days, Bona Leo would involved in political talks and arguments that centered on governance and administration. He would go on and on to deliver his own version of Martin Luther King’s ”I have a dream for Nigeria”. His strong passion for Marketing/Sales greatly helped him alot in relating with people and preparing him fully well for politics. He had earlier tried so many things in life; played Volleyball, played football, Swimming as hobbies, his passion for politics and his love for his people is what fascinates him. Bona Leo is warming up for a strategic position in the Nigerian politics come 2019 as a young aspiring man who believes in the Youths are Leaders of Today and no longer Tomorrow so he supports the bill which have passed second hearing at NASS for the #NotTooYoungToRun by Honorable Tony Nwulu MHR.
