JAMB 2018 Candidates With Pending Result Issues - Get in here

We understand that quite a number of candidates still have not been able to check their results on the JAMB portal.
JAMB 2018 Candidates With Pending Result Issues - Get in here
JAMB had earlier announced that about 111,981 results have been withheld for further screening to ensure they are clean from malpractice.
This means that the main reason (may not be the only reason) why some candidates are yet to see their results or why some candidates results have "disappeared" is that their results are likely among the ones withheld for reasons connected to exam malpractice.
It is likely that such candidates or the centre where they took the exams were implicated in cases of examination malpractices.
Now, the candidates whose results are among the ones withheld will have to wait for JAMB to get done with the screening.
We believe that after the screening, JAMB will release and upload all results that were not implicated in any form of malpractice on their portal.
This should not take more than one week. So if after one week and you still cannot to access your result on JAMB portal, I'm sorry to say this, but just take it that your result have been cancelled.
If you are among the candidates that are yet to see their results or those that their results have "disappeared" please indicate on the comment section. Let us know your exam centre and if there was any incident or other reasons you think may have led to your result being withheld.

JAMB Explains Reason For Delay In Releasing Some Results

The JAMB Boss, Professor Oloyede yesterday in Abuja disclosed the reason why the board has not been able to released more results this week.
He disclosed this during the parade of a suspect caught in exam malpractice by officials of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, in Abuja
According to him, some latest revelations of exam malpratices in some centres have made the board unable to not release some results on Wednesday.
He explained that the board was able to detect, through the use of technology, that most of the cabling issues at CBT centres, were pre-arranged.
“We also have three to four persons who wrote the examinations on the same computer at a session not knowing we have the identity of every computer.’’
Oloyede disclosed that the board had identified 14 centres across the country involved in malpractice and assured that the operators would be prosecuted.

JAMB 2018 UTME Results Will Not Be Released Immediately - Registrar

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that the results of the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will not be released immediately.
This was made known by the Registrar, Prof, Oloyede. According to him, the reason there will be delay in release of results is to review the activities of the candidates and to minimize the number of cancellations.
JAMB 2018 UTME Results Will Not Be Released Immediately - Registrar
The JAMB boss mentioned that last year the board proved a point that there is nothing extra ordinary in releasing results immediately. However, some results were later cancelled when the board found out what happened in some centres through the CCTV Cameras.
So if we have to take two or three days to look at the conduct of the candidates before releasing the 2018 result so as to minimize cancellation, then we will do so.” He said
Mr. Oloyede said no computer-based centre is allowed to collect any cash from the candidates for the main exam adding that the board will release the agreed sum of N600 per candidate due to the centres to them.
The registrar urged candidates to adhere strictly to the date and time allocated to them for examination. He said any candidate who fails to turn up on schedule for his or her examination automatically misses the examination.
The examination is scheduled to begin on Friday, March 9, to March 17, 2018.
